Weekday Masses are celebrated as indicated on the Parish Newsletter which is available in the churches each weekend.
Marriage:
Date and time of marriage must be arranged at least three months in advance with the parish priest.
In the Diocese of Elphin, weddings are not celebrated on Sundays or Holydays.
All couples should note that, in accordance with the Family Law Act 1995, they must give notice at least three months in advance in writing to the Registrar of Marriages of their intention to marry. The Registrar for this area is based in Markievicz House, Sligo.
A brochure which outlines the process of preparing for marriage in the parish is available from the priest.
Sacrament of the Sick:
The Pastoral Care of the Sick states that, ‘Great care and concern should be taken to see that those of the faithful whose health is seriously impaired by sickness or old age receive this sacrament.’
‘… the faithful should be educated to ask for the sacrament of anointing and, as soon as the right time comes, to receive it with full faith and devotion. They should not follow the wrongful practice of delaying the reception of the sacrament.’
Families are asked to contact the priest as soon as they feel someone is ill.
Confirmation
Confirmation is celebrated each year during the Easter season
Sacrament of Reconciliation:
Times and venues for this celebration are advertised in the Parish Newsletter.
